The Department of Veterans Affairs' mobile veterans center will visit Bloomsburg on Friday, February 10th from 10 am to 2:30 pm. The mobile vet center will be located in the parking lot of the TPC Powercenter, located at Tenny Street and Route 11, just north of Bloomsburg. The visit was originally scheduled for Friday, February 3rd, but was changed due to a veterans meeting in Harrisburg. The FREE Saturday "Trains Program", at Christ Memorial Episcopal Church, Pine and East Market Streets, Danville, will be open Saturdays from 10 am to noon. They have a new "talking train," the Amtrak "Pennsylvanian" and dozens of other trains that children and adults can play with. The FREE Wheelchair Train Engineers program at the Columbia Mall, is open Mondays from 3 to 5 pm. The layout is wheelchair accessible and is located at the Sears end of the mall. Master craftsman, Earl Wagner, is helping children and adults enlarge the Wheelchair Engineers' HO layout. Helpers are welcome. Three Springs Ministries, Morris, PA is offering numerous "Summer Camps" for 2012. There are Horse Camps, Day Camps, Residential Camps, and special adventures. The Women's Center, of Columbia/Montour counties, is hosting their Spring Volunteer Training, Tuesday and Thursday evenings, 6 to 9 pm, beginning Tuesday, February 7th and continuing until Thursday, April 12th. Camp Cadet is a one-week summer youth camp for boys and girls ages 12 thru 15. The camp is FREE to the cadets and is funded by donations from industry and private citizens.
